Deformable flat gasket
Placing a gasket over studs
Gaskets, seals and compliant parts
A deformable O-ring in standard AS568 sizes, modeled as a small FEM torus in NBR or silicone for groove insertion and assembly.
Also called o ring, oring, rubber ring or seal ring.
FEM soft body
Delivered as USD for NVIDIA Isaac Sim

An O-ring is a torus of rubber, and the task is usually to stretch it over a shaft or press it into a groove. We model it as a tetrahedral volume with enough elements across the cross section to roll and twist the way a real ring does when it is pushed.
Sizes follow the AS568 standard by dash number, and NBR and silicone have their own stiffness and friction. Matching grooved shafts and bores are available as rigid parts.
One USD file per variant, with the render mesh, the simulation geometry and a physics material bound to it. Every value is set and named, so you can open it in NVIDIA Isaac Sim and run your task, or read the numbers into your own solver from the material JSON.
Industries: Manufacturing, Automotive
Questions
Yes. Give us the AS568 dash number or the inner diameter and cross section, and the compound, and we build that size.
It ships as USD for NVIDIA Isaac Sim and Newton. We also deliver MJCF for MuJoCo and Genesis, a GLB mesh, and a JSON file with every material value.
Yes. Send us a sample, a drawing or a few photos and we set size, stiffness and friction to match your part.
Choose your simulator, format and variant, then tell us where to send it. We prepare the files and email them to you.
