Thin-walled containers

Deformable milk jug

A deformable plastic milk jug with a handle, modeled as a thin shell with liquid mass for fridge stocking robots.

Also called milk bottle or plastic jug.

Thin shell

Delivered as USD for NVIDIA Isaac Sim

How is the deformable milk jug modeled?

A milk jug is thin HDPE with a hollow handle. We model it as a thin shell that flexes under a grip, with the handle stiff enough to lift a full jug by.

The liquid mass inside sets the weight and swing.

Which parts of the deformable milk jug deform?

Wall
Thin plastic shell that flexes
Handle
Hollow, stiffer grip

What ships in the USD?

One USD file per variant, with the render mesh, the simulation geometry and a physics material bound to it. Every value is set and named, so you can open it in NVIDIA Isaac Sim and run your task, or read the numbers into your own solver from the material JSON.

  • Thin shell. A thin surface with in-plane and bending stiffness, sealed or open, with contents modeled inside. Used for film, bags, cans and paper.

Where is it used?

  • Fridge stocking
  • Handle grasping
  • Pouring

Industries: Retail, Food, Household

Questions

Which simulators does the deformable milk jug open in?

It ships as USD for NVIDIA Isaac Sim and Newton. We also deliver MJCF for MuJoCo and Genesis, a GLB mesh, and a JSON file with every material value.

Can it be matched to our real object?

Yes. Send us a sample, a drawing or a few photos and we set size, stiffness and friction to match your part.

How do we get it?

Choose your simulator, format and variant, then tell us where to send it. We prepare the files and email them to you.

Not in the catalog? We build any object to order, with the same physics and delivery.
