Deformable flat bedsheet

A deformable flat bedsheet from twin to king size, modeled as large thin cloth for bed making and hotel robots.

Also called bed sheet, top sheet or flat sheet.

Cloth

Delivered as USD for NVIDIA Isaac Sim

How is the deformable flat bedsheet modeled?

A bedsheet is large, thin and light, so air resistance and its own weight shape how it settles. We model it as one cloth surface sized to a real sheet, with a mesh fine enough to tuck under a mattress edge.

The deep top hem is a stiffer band that gives the sheet a clear top edge, which matters for orientation in bed making tasks.

Which parts of the deformable flat bedsheet deform?

Sheet
Large, thin cloth that settles and tucks
Top hem
Stiffer band marking the top edge

What ships in the USD?

One USD file per variant, with the render mesh, the simulation geometry and a physics material bound to it. Every value is set and named, so you can open it in NVIDIA Isaac Sim and run your task, or read the numbers into your own solver from the material JSON.

  • Cloth. A triangle surface with stretch, shear and bending stiffness and a thickness. Used for towels, sheets and garments.

Where is it used?

  • Bed making
  • Tucking sheets
  • Hotel housekeeping

Industries: Hospitality, Household, Healthcare

Questions

Which simulators does the deformable flat bedsheet open in?

It ships as USD for NVIDIA Isaac Sim and Newton. We also deliver MJCF for MuJoCo and Genesis, a GLB mesh, and a JSON file with every material value.

Can it be matched to our real object?

Yes. Send us a sample, a drawing or a few photos and we set size, stiffness and friction to match your part.

How do we get it?

Choose your simulator, format and variant, then tell us where to send it. We prepare the files and email them to you.
