Door with lever handle

An articulated hinged door with a lever handle, latch and optional closer, for robot navigation between rooms.

Also called interior door or hinged door.

Articulated

Delivered as USD for NVIDIA Isaac Sim

How is the door with lever handle modeled?

The door swings on a hinge with its real mass. The lever handle turns on its own joint with a return spring and drives the latch bolt, so the door only opens once the lever is turned. The closer is a spring and damper on the hinge.

Which parts of the door with lever handle move?

Door leaf
Revolute hinge, optional closer
Lever handle
Revolute with return spring
Latch
Driven by the handle

What ships in the USD?

One USD file per variant, with the render mesh, the simulation geometry and a physics material bound to it. Every value is set and named, so you can open it in NVIDIA Isaac Sim and run your task, or read the numbers into your own solver from the material JSON.

  • Articulated. Rigid links joined by revolute, prismatic or helical joints, with limits, damping and springs where the real object has them.

Where is it used?

  • Opening doors
  • Room to room navigation
  • Door traversal

Questions

Which simulators does the door with lever handle open in?

It ships as USD for NVIDIA Isaac Sim and Newton. We also deliver MJCF for MuJoCo and Genesis, a GLB mesh, and a JSON file with every material value.

Can it be matched to our real object?

Yes. Send us a sample, a drawing or a few photos and we set size, stiffness and friction to match your part.

How do we get it?

Choose your simulator, format and variant, then tell us where to send it. We prepare the files and email them to you.

Not in the catalog? We build any object to order, with the same physics and delivery.
