Sliding door

An articulated sliding glass or closet door, single or bi-parting, for navigation and storage tasks.

Also called patio door, slider or closet door.

Articulated

Delivered as USD for NVIDIA Isaac Sim

Sliding door, reference image

How is the sliding door modeled?

The panel slides on a prismatic joint with rolling friction and end stops. Glass panels ship with a transparent look, which matters for camera-based detection.

Which parts of the sliding door move?

Panel
Prismatic slide with stops

What ships in the USD?

One USD file per variant, with the render mesh, the simulation geometry and a physics material bound to it. Every value is set and named, so you can open it in NVIDIA Isaac Sim and run your task, or read the numbers into your own solver from the material JSON.

  • Articulated. Rigid links joined by revolute, prismatic or helical joints, with limits, damping and springs where the real object has them.

Where is it used?

  • Opening sliding doors
  • Closet access
  • Navigation

Industries: Household, Hospitality, Retail

Questions

Which simulators does the sliding door open in?

It ships as USD for NVIDIA Isaac Sim and Newton. We also deliver MJCF for MuJoCo and Genesis, a GLB mesh, and a JSON file with every material value.

Can it be matched to our real object?

Yes. Send us a sample, a drawing or a few photos and we set size, stiffness and friction to match your part.

How do we get it?

Choose your simulator, format and variant, then tell us where to send it. We prepare the files and email them to you.

Not in the catalog? We build any object to order, with the same physics and delivery.
