Deformable DAC twinax cable
Reconnecting copper links between switches and servers
Cables, wires and hoses
A deformable bundle of 8 to 24 copper or fiber cables held by straps, modeled as touching elastic rods with friction for robots that work inside a crowded server rack.
Also called cable loom, bundled cables, rack cabling or cable run.
Elastic rodCloth
Delivered as USD for NVIDIA Isaac Sim

In a real rack the cable a robot needs is never alone: it runs in a bundle, pressed against its neighbors and held by straps. We model each cable in the bundle as its own elastic rod with its own stiffness, with contact and friction between them, so pulling one cable drags on the others and loosening a strap lets the bundle spread.
We build the bundle to a routing you give us or to a typical top of rack layout: cables leave the bundle at their ports, bend over the tray edge and run along the rack. Straps are cloth bodies wrapped around the bundle at their true spacing.
One USD file per variant, with the render mesh, the simulation geometry and a physics material bound to it. Every value is set and named, so you can open it in NVIDIA Isaac Sim and run your task, or read the numbers into your own solver from the material JSON.

Questions
Yes. Send us photos or a cabling plan and we set the cable count, types, lengths, strap positions and the ports each cable leaves for.
It ships as USD for NVIDIA Isaac Sim and Newton. We also deliver MJCF for MuJoCo and Genesis, a GLB mesh, and a JSON file with every material value.
Yes. Send us a sample, a drawing or a few photos and we set size, stiffness and friction to match your part.
Choose your simulator, format and variant, then tell us where to send it. We prepare the files and email them to you.
