Soft packaging

Deformable toilet paper multipack

A deformable toilet paper or paper towel multipack, modeled as a film shell around soft rolls, for bulky item stocking.

Also called toilet roll pack, kitchen roll pack or tissue pack.

Delivered as USD for NVIDIA Isaac Sim

How is the deformable toilet paper multipack modeled?

A multipack is bulky but light, and squashes when gripped. We model the rolls as soft volumes and the wrap as a thin film shell around them, so the pack gives under a gripper and keeps its shape on a shelf.

The carry handle in the film is modeled, since it is the easiest place to grasp a large pack.

Which parts of the deformable toilet paper multipack deform?

Film wrap
Thin shell around the rolls
Rolls
Soft volumes that squash under a grip

What ships in the USD?

One USD file per variant, with the render mesh, the simulation geometry and a physics material bound to it. Every value is set and named, so you can open it in NVIDIA Isaac Sim and run your task, or read the numbers into your own solver from the material JSON.

  • Thin shell. A thin surface with in-plane and bending stiffness, sealed or open, with contents modeled inside. Used for film, bags, cans and paper.
  • FEM soft body. A tetrahedral volume solved with the finite element method, with the visible surface carried by it. Used for foam, rubber and soft food.

Where is it used?

  • Bulky item stocking
  • Picking light, large items

Industries: Retail, Logistics

Questions

Which simulators does the deformable toilet paper multipack open in?

It ships as USD for NVIDIA Isaac Sim and Newton. We also deliver MJCF for MuJoCo and Genesis, a GLB mesh, and a JSON file with every material value.

Can it be matched to our real object?

Yes. Send us a sample, a drawing or a few photos and we set size, stiffness and friction to match your part.

How do we get it?

Choose your simulator, format and variant, then tell us where to send it. We prepare the files and email them to you.
