Deformable microfiber cleaning cloth

A deformable microfiber cleaning cloth, modeled as soft cloth with high friction for wiping and cleaning robots.

Also called cleaning cloth, duster or microfibre cloth.

How is the deformable microfiber cleaning cloth modeled?

A microfiber cloth is soft and grippy. We model it as a light cloth surface with high friction against hard surfaces, so it drags rather than slides when pressed and pushed.

It is small enough to fold in quarters and hold in one hand, and the mesh is fine enough to wrap around a gripper.

Which parts of the deformable microfiber cleaning cloth deform?

Cloth
Soft, high friction cloth that wraps and drags

What ships in the USD?

One USD file per variant, with the render mesh, the simulation geometry and a physics material bound to it. Every value is set and named, so you can open it in NVIDIA Isaac Sim and run your task, or read the numbers into your own solver from the material JSON.

  • Cloth. A triangle surface with stretch, shear and bending stiffness and a thickness. Used for towels, sheets and garments.

Where is it used?

  • Wiping tables and counters
  • Cleaning glass
  • Folding and refolding a cloth

Industries: Household, Hospitality, Healthcare

Questions

Which simulators does the deformable microfiber cleaning cloth open in?

It ships as USD for NVIDIA Isaac Sim and Newton. We also deliver MJCF for MuJoCo and Genesis, a GLB mesh, and a JSON file with every material value.

Can it be matched to our real object?

Yes. Send us a sample, a drawing or a few photos and we set size, stiffness and friction to match your part.

How do we get it?

Choose your simulator, format and variant, then tell us where to send it. We prepare the files and email them to you.
