A stocking robot needs three things: the products, the cases they arrive in and the fixtures they go into. This category covers all three, from bottles and multipacks to shelf-ready trays and shrink-wrapped cases, to gondola shelving and fridges with glass doors.
The hardest steps in stocking are unpacking a case, placing products neatly and opening a fridge door, so the trays, wraps and doors that make those steps hard are modeled rather than simplified away. Bagged and soft products for the same aisles are in our soft packaging category.
