Articulated household assets: cabinets, drawers and appliances

Opening and closing things is the most common task in a home: a cabinet door, a drawer, a fridge, a dishwasher rack. Each of these assets is an articulated body with the joints the real object has: hinged doors, sliding drawers and racks, buttons and knobs.

Joints carry their real limits, damping and springs. A soft-close drawer slows near the end, a fridge door swings shut from a small angle, and an oven door is heavy on its bottom hinge. Handles are labeled as grasp regions.
